| Well, it's done! College is officially over and it's definitely kinda weird.
It was an awesome weekend. Matt and I packed some things up Friday to drive home to the 'ville to greet my family coming in for the weekend. It was fairly hectic around the house. Friday night was my bridal shower - my bridesmaids are the best! Thank you soooo much! They did such a wonderful job and I couldn't be happier with the way it all turned out. :) Fun!
Saturday we all caravaned to Toledo for my Honors Recognition Ceremony. It was so beautiful out and the assembly was pretty nice. Then we had family time with all of us and Matt's mum, sister and her two girls. We ate lots of leftover wraps and veggies. Yum! :) We also played some good old 90s Trivial Pursuit! The youngins kicked butt - yay for me, Matt and Natane!
Sunday was commencement and a long day of family fun. :) We just hung around and had a good time together. We got 25 people in Matt, Sam, and Bryan's apartment - that was a record! Hehehe. We had good fun and laughs. Lucs and Megs then had to leave to go back to Jersey. Then us kids, Matt, Natane, Laurie, Kelby, Sam, Lindsay, and I went to Friday's for some drinks and appetizers. Although it was a short get-together it was good to see Sam and Lindsay again!
So, now it's Monday and Matt, my mom and dad, and I just finished packing up all my stuff from my apartment. Matt found out that he doesn't have to be back in time for the softball game tonight, so we decided to stay up here in Toledo for one more night. We're gonna hang out with Sam, hopefully Derek too - just watch a movie, maybe get some pizza. We are looking forward to it. A time to relax and take it all in.
Sigh, still trying to figure out how I'm feeling about this whole end-of-college thing. Like Sam advised me, I just have to enjoy it and not think too much about it. It was a good time in my life, of course I'll mis it, but there are also many great things to come in the near future and I'm sure lots later on too! I am trying not to get to upset about it, but when Matt and I took our last walk around campus on Sunday night, it was pretty emotional. It was so surreal - the entire campus was so still and silent. We just walked hand in hand, looking around at the beautiful campus, taking it all in, looking over at each other, taking pictures...we'll miss UT; more for the memories we've had because of it, and mostly for the amazing friends we've made and will hope to keep. Thanks to all of you for being there for not only me, but Matt too. We really both appreciate it. We miss you already! Lots of love. ~H & M :)
| Hey all y'alls. I know, I don't post very often on here, I'm trying to get better at it, but I just forget sometimes. Sigh. Anyways, last week of classes and only one exam next week! I can't believe my college career is coming to a close! It's kinda scary, but super-exciting at the same time. The only thing is - I'm not really sure what I'm going to do when I graduate. I didn't get into grad school, but I do have a number of different options. I can try to get into different graduate school programs, other than School Psychology. I can get a job because money is always good. I can take a couple of classes at UD because you can take 2 if you are not admitted, then I can maybe get into the program there if they like my work ethic and dedication. Hmm, I can volunteer. Yada yada. Anyone have any suggestions or know of anyone I can talk to about my confusion? Thanks! :)
Other than that whole mess, I'm just trying to enjoy these last couple of weeks of school without worrying about them at the same time. I'm gonna miss the trips to and from Toledo, the funny, yet random, stories I hear from Matt's roommates, the times when Matt and I can sit around and do nothing, play video games, or do our homework together. It's just another chapter of my life that's closing and I can't wait for the next one to begin! Less than 3 months until our WEDDING! Wahoo! I'm so excited!!! The shower is coming up soon here too! Bridal shower, Honors Recognition, and Commencement all in one weekend - ahhh! It's going to be fairly hectic, but definitely a good time. I'm looking forward to spending time with my family and seeing little Chloe growing up. :)
Well, I think that's all for now. Hi to all and best of wishes as this semester finishes up! I'm thinking about all of you. :)

*If you read this, even if I don't speak to you often, you must post a memory of me. It can be anything you want, it can be good or bad, just so long as it happened. Then post this to your journal to see what people remember about you.* |

Thanks all y'alls for taking the time to do this for me! I appreciate it!

| Wow, defs haven't updated in a while, sorry all. Just been quite busy this semester. And there are so many more fun things to do now that Matt's around again! :) It's fun hanging around at his place with Sam and Bryan. They make me laugh so much. Good times with the boys.
Matt and I have been having fun doing wedding planning stuff. I think we're pretty much set on everything. Yep, we are pretty good planners, so we've got a lot accomplished. All necessary people have been contacted and appointments have been made. Decisions have been chosen and what not, so we're doing well. It's still exciting - only 126 days to go! Wahoo! That's so crazy. This long awaited day is surely coming fast - and that's defs a good thing.
So anyways, just thought I'd drop a line on here to basically see if anyone still reads this thing. Hope all is well with everyone and lemme know how your lives are treating you. Take care. Lotsa love
| Hey all. Sorry I haven't been keeping this thing up to date. It's been kinda crazy 'round here...well then again, not really at all. Classes are pretty boring, just because they all seem so "stupid easy". Oh well...I'm getting good grades and I guess that's good for my GPA! Well, I've been home the past few weekends...I took a whole week off for fall break considering I only have MTW classes and MT was fall break, so what's the sense in driving back up to T-town for just a few classes on Wednesday? So I was home 2 weekends for that, I went home this past weekend because there was honestly nothing better to do in Toledo. Sometimes it's so boring. And of course, I wanted to see my Mattie! We had some family fun watching movies and whatnot, so it was nice. I'll be home agai nthis weekend because one of my and Matt's friends is going to Cincy to take the Fundamentals of Engineering test so he's taking me along for the ride and company. He's gonna stick around C`ville for some time too so we can hang out with Matt and Bryan too. I'm excited! Those boys are so fun to hang out with. Ok, then the following weekend, my brother Lucan is thinking of coming to Ohio because he won't be here for Thanksgiving...he'll be in England for Thanksgiving! Lucky. So, although we'll miss him, I'm sure he'll have fun and I know Megan's bro Rob will be very appreciative of him going to his graduation. Soooo...long story short - I'll be home for 5 weekends in a row! How crazy is that? And yes, lots and lots, almost too much driving for me. But it's definitely worth it. Spending time with Matt is the best. And this past Sunday I went through a lot of my mom's old clothing - so many memories! So that was anice mommy bonding time. I tried on her wedding dress and it fits! Also tried on her going away outfit and some outfits she bought to wear on the honeymoon! Hehe, good times! I love you Mom! My dad and I had fun too...he's not feeling too well - stupid colds - but he's the funny, sarcastic type, so we always get along when he is in a weird, joking mood. It was just a real nice weekend. So, anyways...enough about that...
I'm getting pretty stressed about when I should take the GRE. Holy crap! I talked to some grad students today who said I should really be preparing for like 6 months before I apply...yeah, not gonna happen, considering I have deadlines for applications in January and February! AHHHHH! I wish there were some knowledgeable people on campus here, faculty or advisors who could tell you exactly what's going on with that. Seems like no one really knows...or seems to care. Sigh. I need to do some serious researching on the topic and I need to get some materials to start studying! Weeeee!
Alright, well that should be good for now. I'll *try* to write more often....but I'm not promising anything! Hehe. Thanks to all of you who check back in with me, even though I don't respond enough! I appreciate it...you're the best! Take care all. Love ya!
